MAZE RUNNER by JAMES DASHNER
So yeah, we've seen people giving this book a 2-star but actually, to my eyes, this book didn't look like a book that deserves 2 stars. For those who haven't read this yet, welcome to the non-spoilery section.
I love how the thrill went on and emotions became powerful. Its like you're feeling what the main character is feeling. I mean, its described so well and the wordings were so simple and that's what I love about this book. Truthfully, I thought I wan in the Maze too. Honest, I felt like my heart thumping loudly, thinking if the characters might survive in the scenarios that they went through.
This book is worth to be read. If you guys like thrill, rush, action-pack and a pinch of romance, than here's your chance.
So smoothly described and a very twist and turn story that the author construct. I feel the rush and its like a roller coaster. So awesome. I even wrote my review on Goodreads. And now for the spoilery section. Those who have not read this book or currently reading the book, its best you shouldn't read the review. Trust me, you DO NOT want to get spoiled. But if you still insist on reading this book even after reading this spoilery review, then its fine.
OMG Awesome book!!! Love Thomas. Truthfully, reading this book, I imagined every character from the movie Maze Runner to the book Maze Runner.
I'm on an emotional roller coaster and I feel so great. This book made me re-read the whole thing again.
I love how Thomas drives away the monster with Minho when they were stuck out in the Maze all night. Loved that. Newt is a sometimes rough, sometimes easy person and every person's characters are described so real, I almost thought of being late to catch the school bus because I was to intrigued by how it all felt real.
I would be so happy that I thought, maybe, I could go and have a cup of coffee with the author. Because, THIS BOOK had been my cup of coffee. After I finished reading this book, I was like "aargh, should I really... like really read this book again."
I'm somehow surprise that the story from the book is different from the story from the movie. But somehow, the pace was still the same. It surprises me every time I think about it.
I love how the story focuses on choices, and what you really have to do. This book was like telling us to be clever in making decisions. I even love the light romance between Thomas and Teresa and... the power of telepathy... They can do that to each other... Super cool.
I think I would give this book a 5/5 stars. I was THAT GOOD!!! I read this edition of the Maze Runner because the hardback cover didn't really provoke me to read this book so that's why I bought this edition of the book. (Look below.)
Its so much more better than the original edition. I feel bad for judging a book by its cover. I promise to buy a book without looking at its cover.
