BLOGYEAR - DAY 1

HI EVERYONE!!! I'm Genie and welcome to my blog. Since the blogging and read-a-thon has started, I want to say that I am currently reading BURN FOR BURN!!! So far, I love it, I can't wait to share my thoughts to all of you about this book. But today, is also the 1st day of 3rd year of middle school. So yeah, 3rd years are always tough years but I will still be reading quite a few books.

By the way, I'm the only one participating. My time of blogging would be fun and I am going to read a few books or so.

                                                  

Yeah, I wanna say a few words. First of all, I am sorry for not hosting a giveaway but I will do that in the near future (hopefully) because first of all, I don't know how to host one and second, no publishers sent me any books and thirdly, I have no extra money or extra books that are the same copies. Not yet at least. But don't worry, giveaways will happen soon.

And also, I have a few books which I want to read this month but I couldn't get them because my mom and dad told me to save my own money and that could take a while to save the right amount but it's still a working progress.

BLOGGER'S READ-A-THON

HI EVERYONE!!! I want to tell you something new that I'll be doing. This is something that I think I made. And I can't wait to tell to all of you but before that, I want to say something very important. Have you ever heard of a 'read-a-thon'? Some of you have, right? It's when a reader has to read books really, really fast until they reached the limitation or date that they've marked. So, it's something like that and for the moment you've been waiting... It's not just a blog-a-thon but also a BLOGGER'S READ-A-THON!!!

I will be blogging and also reading. I will be reading books for 4 weeks starting from 12/01/2015 to 07/02/2015. So, I will be saying that it's kinda like a blog-new-year thing. I wasn't able to make a blogmas so I decided to make a blogger's read-a-thon. I wanted to say that I want to read a few books even though I don't know which to start with. That's one reason why I don't post a TBR. I have no idea what to read. ROCK REVIEW (BOOK) - BIRTH OF A KILlER by DARREN SHAN

HI EVERYONE!!! Welcome to another review. Today I'll be reviewing about...

                                

BIRTH OF A KILLER by DARREN SHAN 

First of all, I love this book. Blood-soaked. Very detailed in emotions. You guys read it. I gave a respective amount of stars for this book. So guys, read it. Can make you feel reality in this fantasy. You can buy this book at your nearest bookstore.
For those who doesn't the plot of this story, it is about a boy named Larten Crepsley who happens to be human at first. He and Vur works in a very young age at a factory with a very bloody boss. So, one day, the boss kills Vur and then, out of rage, Larten killed his boss. He escaped from his work, his life and his family. That's when he meets Seba, a vampire and General at Vampire Mountain. Seba offers him a life. If Larten proved to be a good assistant to Seba, he too will become a vampire. So, that's when the journey really begins.

NON-SPOILERY    

I give this book a 4.5 out of  5 stars     

First of all, I like Larten. When I think about it, he is such a manly vampire. I just don't understand why vampires could only live 500 hundred. But if that's the truth in the book, I'd like to say that do not sign me up if you want to turn me into a vampire that could only live for 500 years. But Larten of course, makes me wanna read him all day (not in a creepy way). Everything is so well made and finely constructed. I loved the part where Larten meets his dad from far. That made me realize how detailed the author made his writing when it comes to a part of emotions. Like the time when Tranz kills Vur. Even the killing were so detailed. Anger of Lerten... very detailed. 

What I really hated from this book was the character. Wester. Then Wester said he wanted to be a vampire too. This really irritated me. First of all, I don't really like Wester. But he really is nice. So, I had to get used to the part when Wester is part of the story too.

But other than that, I loved this book.

NEW YEAR POST

HI EVERYONE!!! Happy New Year!!! Today I want to post just a random post. Not about books, not about book-ish activities. Just a post.

     The year 2014, where I realized that not many things happened during that year. Haven't bought many books. Many good and bad things happened. I loved and hate some things. And now I love the coming year of 2015.  It may not be much be I want to say that, no matter how long I haven't posted anything or haven't read anything, this blog will be part of my family and so are my followers (that sounded weird). Who knows, I love the very point of the life as a coming year and that the days have to be bright and dark. Sizzle and sweet and when everything is funny, I want to be the first one laughing or be the joker.

     Just made me talk too much but not going to erase it.

Guys, I'm stopping now. I know that this is short but I hope this is enough. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT EVERYONE!!!

 

ROCK REVIEW (BOOK) - DIVERGENT (DIVERGENT #1) by VERONICA ROTH

HI EVERYONE!!! I'm Genie and welcome to Rock Review (Books). I feel hyped up to review one certain book. If you read my previous review of Mesmerized, lastly, I did say I was currently reading Divergent. Yes...

                       

I don't want say a word but WOW!!! I love this book and I can't wait to read the sequel. It's hard to NOT write in a non-spoilery review. But I would say is WOW, you guys, read it. If not, you are missing out. Trust me it's a good story. Here's the link to my review in Goodreads.

Though, I can't say it's not so spoilery. But if you are a hard-to-be-spoiled person, then read it and you're allowed to read the spoilery review but if you're not that kind of person... You should read it. I just feel really bad to say GET OUT. But to tell you the truth, I just borrowed this book. And read it. So, don't be like me, buy it.
